3 DAY WORKSHOP
Children are natural explorers, fascinated by the mysteries of the universe and the wonders beyond our world. Imagine discovering the rings of Saturn, exploring the surface of Mars, witnessing a supernova, or gazing at a sky filled with countless stars! Introducing children to Space Science and Astronomy at an early age transforms their natural curiosity into a lifelong passion for discovery. It inspires them to ask extraordinary questions, think creatively, and develop an appreciation for science, mathematics, and technology.
SPACE SAFARI 2026, presented by Edu Mithra, is an exciting three-day offline interactive workshop designed to take young space enthusiasts on an unforgettable journey through the universe. Scheduled for December 27, 28, and 29, 2026, at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Kakkanad, Kerala, this immersive experience brings space science beyond textbooks through engaging sessions, hands-on activities, and live interactions with subject experts and space scientists. Students will explore planets, stars, galaxies, black holes, and the science behind space exploration while gaining insights into exciting future careers in the space sector.
A highlight of SPACE SAFARI is its practical learning experience, featuring hands-on astronomy workshops, guided stargazing, constellation identification, and an introduction to astrophotography. Participants will discover how to observe celestial objects, explore the wonders of the night sky, and capture its beauty through photography. Combining scientific discovery, expert guidance, and memorable practical experiences, SPACE SAFARI inspires young explorers to dream big, think scientifically, and take their first steps toward becoming tomorrow’s astronomers, scientists, and space explorers.
