Edu Mithra is excited to announce SPACE SAFARI 2024, a 3-day immersive workshop on Space Science & Technology, specifically designed for students from grades 5 to 12. Hosted at the prestigious Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, from 27th to 29th December 2024, this event offers a unique opportunity for young minds to explore the fascinating world of space. Over the course of three days, students will dive deep into topics like stars, planets, asteroids, and space exploration, fostering their curiosity in science subjects such as physics and mathematics. With interactive sessions, hands-on learning, and expert-led discussions, SPACE SAFARI aims to ignite a lasting passion for Space Science among aspiring young scientists, potentially guiding them towards future careers in the field.
The event is structured with an engaging schedule and is designed to ensure a safe and enriching experience. Participants will be supervised by experienced staff throughout the workshop, with all necessary safety measures in place. Limited to 50 students, selection is based on a first-come, first-served basis. The program will also feature a prize distribution and closing ceremony, inviting parents to join in the celebration of their children’s achievements on the final day

The first day focuses on introducing participants to key concepts in space science, astrophotography, and communication. Notable speakers and experts will provide insights into their fields through interactive sessions and an astro photography workshop.
